Ford Dealership Revs its Engine
Ford dealership revs its engine with the latest project by Construction Developers, Inc (CDI). Future Automotive Group owner, Steve Pleau, worked with (CDI) owner Frank Cornell on a construction partnership that worked for everyone and continued through 3 expansion phases as the dealership grew.
The scope of the project grew over time, but started as a shop rebuild, due to a fire back in December 2011. The fire blazed through the 100,000sf service garage. The project grew into a complete tear down of the showroom, offices and eventually the quick service and carwash buildings as well.

Here’s a great shot of the ribbon cutting and grand re-opening, with owner Steve Pleau and City of Clovis mayor, Nathan Magsig.
What started as a restoration project, from fire damage in December 2011, to the 100,000sf service garage, has resulted in a magnificent property including new offices, showroom, service center, lounge, retail, garage, carwash & exterior sales area.
The project is unique in that it was build with three distinct building methods, each used in a different major section of the site. The massive service garage that was burned was rebuilt using concrete tilt-up construction, while the attached new showroom, offices and retail area was built with engineered steel. The grand service portico was also built with steel. Finally the entire quick service bays and carwash outbuilding was rebuilt using CMU or block.
